HOTEL DERBY BORN TOGETHER WITH THE FOLGARIDA LOCATION
Our family returned to Val di Sole after emigrating to Chile in the fifties. And it is during this period that the story of Hotel Derby begins. The hotel was built brick by brick by Carlo and Natalina Albasini in the same years when the Folgarida area was born. A period of great renewal and excitement for Val di Sole, which over time has become a reference center for winter and summer tourism in Trentino. The hotel was inaugurated on December 26, 1973, and from that day, it has never stopped welcoming you. Over these years, we have always renewed ourselves to keep up with the times and ensure customized services and maximum comfort. Today, we are in the third generation of management, and we continue to offer you our warm welcome in this magical place.

VAL DI SOLE: ENCHANTING NATURE
Val di Sole is a place to be experienced in every season. We overlook the Dolomites of Brenta, a UNESCO World Heritage site, surrounded by forests, immersed in an imposing nature, with trails and paths suitable for various outdoor activities, from hiking to skiing. A short distance away, you’ll find the Adamello Brenta Nature Park and the Stelvio National Park. The hotel is located within the Ski Area Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta, Val di Sole – Val Rendena, the largest ski area in Trentino. The ski lifts for the slopes are 300 meters from the hotel, and during your stay, you will always have access to the ski room with boot warmers and ski storage.
